Blume Illustrated fundraising exhibition and auction is to be held at Gallery One88 from December 4 - 16, 2018 with opening drinks from 4-6pm on December 8.
150 framed, credit card sized images (55mm w x 90mm in 10cm x 15cm white window box frames) themed around the title “Little Facts & Fallacies” with creative responses as to what artists read and how this informs their creative work. The $20 entry fee ( $15 for students ) includes a frame and a board. All succesful entries will have a start price of $135 and be auctioned to the highest bidder.
Artists receive 40% back on any sales unless they elect to donate the full sale price to the Blume fundraising efforts. Blume will use 40% ( or the % dontated by the artist) of sales to help cover production costs. 20% goes to the Gallery to cover their overall exhibition and admin costs, space rent and staff.
Frames and entry kit can be collected from Gallery One88 at 188 Katoomba Street Katoomba, or posted out for an additional postage fee. Postage for the frames and entry kit is $10 1-2 kits $15 for 3-4 kits.
Maximum number of entries for each artist is 4 and 2 for each student. Entries will be reviewed and selected for hanging by Blume Illustrated and Gallery One88 from the image files submitted and then artist are to deliver or post framed works when notified by November 28th, 2018.
ENTRIES CLOSE: October 7, 2018 and images of submissions received at Gallery ONE88 by close of business November 4, 2018. DO NOT SEND OR DELIVER FRAMED WORKS till you are notified of final selection. Send an image file or files as JPG's 300 DPI to scale. Please label each as per the title on entry forms.
